About this family
New Eta Editorial Serif — 9 Weight Font Family
New Eta, a modern high-contrast serif family created for expressive editorial typography and sophisticated brand communication.
New Eta draws inspiration from classic fashion typography while introducing a more contemporary and sculptural personality. Elegant letter proportions are paired with dramatic stroke contrast, distinctive terminals, fluid curves, and carefully designed alternative characters.
The lighter weights deliver a delicate, graceful, and luxurious appearance. They work beautifully for fashion campaigns, perfume packaging, wedding stationery, editorial headlines, and beauty branding. As the family moves toward Bold, ExtraBold, and Black, New Eta becomes stronger and more confident while preserving its refined construction.
The family includes nine weights:
Thin, ExtraLight, Light, Regular, Medium, SemiBold, Bold, ExtraBold, and Black.
New Eta also includes stylistic alternates and discretionary ligatures that allow designers to create more expressive wordmarks, logos, titles, and monograms. Alternate forms for selected uppercase and lowercase characters introduce unexpected curves and decorative details without losing readability.
Use the standard characters for clean editorial compositions, or activate the stylistic features to build a more distinctive brand identity.
With extensive Latin language support, professional OpenType features, fractions, superscripts, subscripts, ligatures, and carefully developed kerning, New Eta is ready for both creative experimentation and professional design projects.
